Transfers: Interdisciplinary Journal of Mobility Studies / Special Issue of „Degendering the Driver“

Now our special issue of „Transfers: Interdisciplinary Journal of Mobility Studies“ on „Degendering the Driver“ (Volume 8 (1), Spring 2018) which I edited together with Fabian Kröger including our introduction to „Autonomous Driving and the Transformation of Car Cultures“ has been published (http://www.journals.berghahnbooks.com/transfers/)

The special issue contains results from our research project “Degendering the Driver? Autonomous Vehicles, Mobility and Gender”, which analyses interactions between the design of autonomous vehicles and our Gendered Auto-Mobility Cultures but also contributions of seminal researchers in the field.
